Phallus! Penis! Dick! Or whatever…you may call it.

Yup! That’s right folks. Name doesn't have any business with it. And say- it’s everywhere! On the walls of a house, hanging from the roof, on top of the door, and the list goes on. I mean… it resides everywhere, for crying out loud.

Even in the field!
And the fact of a matter is- it has got a hell of a reason to be everywhere too. The reason isn’t very scientific enough to validate their mass presence, but rather it’s more of superstitions.
Those phalluses are there to stand off the bad omens that could befall on us! Yeah, you heard it right fellows. Those wooden made dicks can really save us, from the evil. Well, at least that’s how we are all brought up; believing.

I guess the tourist, who comes to Bhutan for the first time, must have found all this amusing. And I don’t blame them. I mean, who would paints a life size dicks on your home? But again that what makes us Bhutanese, unique of all the rest.

Everyday I see new constructions coming up and I picture in my mind, a 60 by 30 size dick, painted on those fresh white walls.
We are proud of our rich culture and this is one unique yet cynical method we have, to waive off the evil.

  13. Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The text in your post seem to be running off the screen in Opera.

I'm not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I'd post
to let you know. The design and style look great though!
Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Many thanks

  14. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with
it better. Youve got an awful lot of text
for only having 1 or two pictures. Maybe you could space it
    out better?
