Crazy but immediate solutions to solve INR crisis

Alright now lets get little critical here. And why not? The Government is cutting all the loose ends just to save the country's neck from drowning in excessive INR crunch. The ministers are to be paid the minimum of the wage according to the valid sources. Well that's one of the few glistening face of politician serving the people in a real sense.

So we know that the country has a HUGE INR CRUNCH right? But what are we doing about it, than simply relaying solely on the Government to fix it. Aren't we as a citizen responsible, just the same? I thought so. Of late we know that our new Government is pumping in five Billion from India to ignite different plans to swing into action. isn't this going to add up to the already existing crunch? After all it's the Indian currency at large.

I feel that if we really care then perhaps we need to dare a bit in our lifestyle so that together we can help ourselves to save all the shortcomings altogether. So below are some of the small things that can help solve the INR crisis, if taken seriously I believe.

  1. Cut the supply of chips and cookies in the shops: My son alone empties 3 - 4 packets of chips a day. Imagine how much all children in the entire country are consuming? And these junk foods are all imported from India. Cutting short of these unhealthy edibles would not hamper much on anything rather than saving our children's health as well as rupee outflow.
  2. Kitchen garden for all:  There are huge lands converted into a luxurious garage and parking in most of the town areas. These people are solely relying on the market for the vegetables which the market imports from India. So instead of the garage and parking, if these areas are turned into a garden, it could save all the hassle of running to the market to waste money which indirectly goes off to INDIA.
  3. Shop from within: Just to save few hundreds, our people are all going down to the border towns to bargain petty goods. Which I think can be done within ourselves. (not all atlest)
  4. Walk again: At one point, all of us were walking merrily. But then the cars started becoming necessity for all due to Bank's affordable loan system. Now that the petrol prices are sky-rocketing, why don't we all walk again merrily so that we save our budget and also health?
  5. Local (ARA): Alcohol is much loved by all that too beer. Even the people in the community seem to fancy drinking beer which costs nearly a hundred. Instead of bottling a dozen and wasting huge chunk of budget why don't we switch back to our locally brewed wines? (ARA, BANGCHANG and SINGCHANG)
To be continued.............

Annihilating Dzongkha - Live

These days, extreme Politic enthusiasts are live on National Television with just one reason in their mind; campaigning to win! Well, not anymore, I would say. These people are slaying our National language live on telecast and nobody seems to be caring. Infact every one seems to be enjoying it night after night taking it to be some sort of idiotic parable.

I thought they had to have atleast a degree qualification so as to contest or I rather guess not. Oh, for heaven's sake, is Dzongkha really a rocket science? Yes, many would agree, that it's little hard writing but not for any reason - speaking. Otherwise what's left to flaunt ourselves as Bhutanese afterall?

God, I really wish that these people are made to sit for some sort of Dzongkha Proficiency test or something before they actually think of contesting. That would atleast set some level though and save themselves from jabbering jargon.

I cannot in the wildest of my dreams imagine them speaking as a guest infront of our children in the schools, if for some mad cow's reason get elected.
Well folks, its really about time that we change for good. Democracy should be for a change so why not start from the contestants, shall we?

Piling the dirt of Politics

For the record, there wasn't much of any conspiracy against anyone, let alone the nagging blame game that's going on these days.

First there were five parties and within the election onset second, one got kicked out and that too on a lame not so valid account. I was like.....What the hell? Hello.... if they were to be kicked out, why so much of those whiny request from the Election Commission to form as many parties as possible, in the first place! (I know nobody would answer that)

Then there were four left, not to mention two couldn't even persuade the voters (mostly illiterates) for choosing the woman president. (Another socialistic undiminished discrimination against the woman)

Ultimately, the Primary round knocked out the two not so popular parties off the list for good. Now I ask, didn't anyone see that coming? I mean, they were after all fighting the loosing battle, for heaven's sake. (Nyamchung style sucked more like a Gangnam style after all) Oh! I cannot even force to laugh than to feel sorry for them.

Then the two already established parties are left- heading for the final general round but not with a good intention, I suppose. What happened next? Nobody could have seen it coming; HORSE TRADING! Can they do that? I mean isn't this what we call a coalition? Are the Election officials going brain dead now?  Half of the civilized country men and women believe that, it's an ultimate coalition party, except for the Election officials. Wow, somebody please give them a gold medal fast!

What followed next is no better than a complete social tyranny. Politicians plotting childish conspiracy against each other are making the headlines today. (Good going GNH bureaucrats, we are getting there.)

In search of power, ARE WE NOT LOOSING OUR HUMANITY MY FELLOW COUNTRY MEN?

Preciousness in one

There she stands, red as blood, dancing in solitude
Yet glistening her natural beauty to the roaring wind
Everyone who's ever been to Ramjar
Digs under cover from the passing Mr. wind
But say whatever for she stands tall
Defying the odds of he who tries to shy her off
      Its no use Mr. wind
As she's pure as she portrays
One can feel her presence from yard's distance
For she isn't withering anytime soon
Oh! mother of love, isn't she beautiful?
My mind yearns to ask; aren't you ever lonely?
For you're all one in over field's distance
But I know too well without her answering
That it's in the solitude with which she mesmerizes onlookers
Nobody dares to touch her even with love
And who could? for she's just one
Even seasons seem's to be in no hurry, why?
      Oh, I forgot..... She's rose, isn't she?

Jack-ass me

Well, first I received a call from an Election office (Trashiyangtse) saying that, I ought to report on 18th April at the Dzongkhag for a refresher's course, for an Election duty. Then  when I finally reached there, my name wasn't on the list. What the f***k?

At first I thought that it was one of those blunders that must have occurred, probably a typing error and they would however list my name there if I asked. But No, I was wrong. They took it like some kind of April fool prank. I mean I became a living jack-ass among some hundred civil servants up there and they freaking didn't care. Can they do that?

I had to literally walk some knee dropping ascents down the hill and hitch a ride to the Dzongkhag and for what? To become a big JACK-ASS! I don't really get it. Is this fair?
No, I am not saying that I should have  gotten an Election duty here, no I am not. But having endured so much pain and sacrificed my time, not to mention the cash invested; I really felt that I deserved a more professional and logical explanation there.
Those  eerie statement still rings in my ear even now. "well, no problem. Have lunch and go." If it weren't for those crowd, I would have shouted like, "Do you think that I have come all the way to have some freaking lunch?"

From what I believe, they must have replaced us with some dear and near friends. But then a call would have saved all the trouble.....
