Finally!

Today was just like any other day except for the few dogs shitting all over my lawn. It has been like two freaking months, until the Dzongkhag decided to clear up the massive road block near our school.

I thought it would take a donkey’s year, to make these lazy officials respond to our faithful plea. But hey, what the hell? They did it today. So today was kind of special for us.

My friend Mr. Nado had somehow gone mental over it for the past one month. This afternoon he was in a blissful mood. I could hear him humming a Hindi tune, and I knew the reason just fine. As of me, I could finally breathe a sigh of relief because all these days, he pestered me like hell, to go with him and clear that block with just the hammer and pick hoe. Pretty insane, right? I mean, that couldn’t happen with me in the wildest of my dreams.

Well I have got to go and thank our Tshogpa because to make those blocks disappear, he had to rotate the Dzongkhag offices almost a dozen times.  I just can’t believe they took this long! Was it that difficult? I guess not.  Bunch of scumbags! It isn’t like they had to pay for the whole clearing thing from their own pocket.

Now we can swing back to our good old life since commuting is finally made possible. Time to shop the necessities for the kitchen looks darn poor.
