Living on the edge of paradise

Yangtse town 

For a moment, one could be standing in a lucid admiration of a Trashiyangtse town. But again, that’s just, if one is a lover of  peace and calm surrounding though. Well, I certainly agree that the town isn’t like busting and hustling sort, but the way she disposes will quite win your heart. The houses are all built in the same design so as to say. One just can’t find a concrete building in the town area for sure.   

There are only countable vehicles plying the dusty roads. So this is a town where everyone- knows- everyone, sort of a place.

For somebody coming from major towns like Thimphu and Phuentsholong, it could definitely take, quite some time, to get used to the silent lifestyle of Yangtseps. Since everything is casually laid back here.  

Chroten Kora

I often feel that of all, especially the writers could station here for their work, because the natural environment is predominantly despicable, for the calm minds.

No wonder she’s blessed with tremendous holy places by the eminent Guru Rinpochhe himself. An elderly man once blurted “it would take almost month in order to make pilgrimage of the holy sites here”. Even I couldn’t agree less on this, especially now.

And to add on the list, there are two Dzongs (fortress). One old for the monks and other, housing the Dzongkhag administration centers. Chorten Kora and Gompu Kora are the priceless jewels for the Yangtseps. Many devote from far and near makes a holy pilgrimage to these two enshrines during the auspicious days.

For me, being right here, not less by fate itself is just, a blessing in disguise.
